Is Hydroxychloroquine a cure for Coivid-19?

Latest research articles state that Hydroxychloroquine has shown “certain curative effect with fairly good efficacy”. But that is not good enough to call it a cure as further testing needs to be done to fully understand the MoA and other pharmaceutical questions.

There is hope because many clinical trials are being done to find the best drug combinations that can totally eliminate the virus.

At the moment, the best thing to do is still prevention.

It is important to note that it is not a good idea to rush to the pharmacy and buy drugs and start consuming without a prescription or a confirmed diagnosis. This could lead to serious medical complications including deadly allergic reactions in some people.

Finally, if you are tested positive, you are better off being treated with the best up to date combination of meds tested and approved by W.H.O and specialist medical staff and not self prescribed chloroquine tabs from a roadside store.
